Library 2.0: Service for the next-generation library

In reading through this article there was a section entitled ‘Customer as collaborator’. The thrust of this section was talking about customisation of services to meet the needs of the customer. This could be through being able to customise the library web page to meet their needs. It struck me that we are nowhere in being able to offer this with our social media. I am not even sure what we could do in this respect. Something else to ponder on.
